![]() I checked everything, and decided that something must have happened with the update, so I plugged in the usb installer again to see if I could just repair windows, and the thing booted up just fine! I checked everything out, it all looked good. ![]() This morning it was off, I booted it up, and it said no boot device available. All was good, I got his stuff moved over and set up, sent it off for a round of updates and went to bed. ![]() Then I used the Microsoft usb creation tool, and made a fresh copy of just windows 10 home and installed it, getting rid of all the extra not needed crap that the manufacturer always load on there. I took it home, booted it up, saw it had Windows 10 home. His died in September, and then the used replacement died this last week. The principal just bought a new computer. My wife teaches there, and I graduated from there too. ![]() OK, I volunteer IT at my daughters small private Christian school.
